Inside my Grandma Liz’s kitchen there’s a skating rink
She rubs and scrubs and shines with magic polish, I think.

It’s not made of ice or wood or even cement
But with shiny linoleum most excellent.

When my sister and I put on our slippers slick
Knit by our own grandma lickety-split
We sail across the polished floor
