Spider Snacks

SUPPLIES:
12 round snack crackers

Chocolate frosting (ready-made is fine)

Bag of mini-pretzel sticks (48 sticks)

12 chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  • Dip 8 pretzel sticks into the frosting.
  • Make sure to get a nice blob of frosting on the end of yet stick.
  • Take the sticky pretzel ends and attach them to the top of the cracker. These are the spider’s legs.

  • Next, take a second cracker. Dot it with 2 small blobs of frosting.
  • Attach a chocolate chip to each blob for the spider’s eyes.
  • Then carefully turn over the same cracker and smear some frosting on the bottom. Attach the frosting side of this cracker to first cracker’s bottom. (not to the side with the legs)

You should be able to stand up your spider now.

Repeat these steps 5 more times, and you’ll have 6 spider snacks to share with your family and friends.

VARIATIONS:
You can also try this recipe using peanut butter instead of frosting. Or you can use round vanilla cookies instead of the crackers
