Homemade Clay-Dough

Play-Doh has been a favorite toy for more than 50 years now. Here’s a homemade recipe for playtime fun.

3 Cups FLOUR
1 ½ Cups SALT
3 Tablespoons OIL
1 Cup WATER
1 Tablespoon FOOD COLORING

Mix the ingredients together in a large bowl. Then add the food coloring until well blended. If you’d like, you can divide the dough into three parts before you add the food coloring. Then add a different color to each part if you want a smaller amount of the homemade dough and a greater variety of colors. Store the dough in resealable plastic bags to keep it from drying out.

There are other variations of this simple dough plus craft ideas available on the web using the search words: “homemade playdoh”
